Celebrating 40 years of the Routemaster this event was held at the Royal Victoria Docks and Covent Garden.

Friday 29th August 2003 saw the sad departure of the Routemasters on Route 15.
A spectacular turn out however saw the following buses in service:-

RML2456 JJD456D
RML2760 SMK760F was the final Routemaster to run into Upton park garage for the very last time.
Some photo's were taken by a friend of mine (Graham Noakes) who I have worked with on many occassions and who was the driver of RML2760 the last 15 into Upton Park

COBHAM 2006
A warm Walthamstow to a wet Wisley with RML2463.
I drove RML2463 to Wisley for this years event, It was just as well there were so many RMs as the open platforms made a handy shelter between downpours.

Friday 7th December 2007 saw the end of First bus operations in Orpington. Its garage at Faraday Way, St Mary Cray closed as the last bus rolled in. The buses, routes and staff moved to Metrobus.
